Course description

With the passing of the Police, Crime, Sentencing & Courts Act 2022, Parliament has added to the already rather lengthy list of factors which aggravate assaults.

Some offences give the courts power to increase sentence from that of the basic offence; others require courts to increase sentence within the sentencing limits of that offence.

Presented by leading trainer Clive Smith, this webinar is designed to help practitioners at all levels with regards to sentencing in cases of assault, particularly when there is said to be an element of aggravation to the offence.
