This handy 30 minute guide is aimed at those new to providing legal advice to suspects at the police station stage of proceedings where forensic issues may be raised. An understanding of Code D of the Codes of Practice under PACE is required and also the relevant sections of PACE.


Popular presenter Colin Beaumont will explore how best to advise a client when requests are being made of a forensic nature, discussing how to explain to the client precisely why the police want samples, intimate/non-intimate samples and the client’s room for manoeuvre, fingerprints and photographs, removal of clothing and paper suits.
