Course description

Mental health in the workplace is an increasingly important and prevalent topic.

As such, employees are more aware of their legal rights to raise complaints with their employer and, in turn, there is increased emphasis on employers managing complaints of stress at work with a greater degree of scrutiny. It is important that personal injury practitioners supporting Claimants in this area of law are well equipped to advise and case manage cases competently.

Presented by expert solicitor Jessica Rowson, this webinar aims to build up the knowledge and expertise of Claimant personal injury fee earners who already work in this field by looking at a detailed review of foreseeability, consideration of other personal injury considerations in addition to the usual psychiatric illness claim and an overview of important estoppel considerations in respect of the overlap with employment law.
