Personal Impact - Theatreworks
Drawing on the techniques used by professional actors and directors, this Theatreworks Personal Impact workshop is designed to help Participants improve their communication skills in an experiential and deeply memorable way.
The one day programme is designed as a way for Participants to enhance their confidence in using their body, voice and imagination to communicate in a creative way. Highly practical and participative, the course takes place in a rehearsal room where participants are given a safe space to practice skills related to:
- Improved breathing and use of voice
- Active listening skills
- Relaxation and concentration
- Communicating confidently to an audience
- Harnessing their personality and presence to affect a group
With useful feedback from specialist actor/trainers from the National Theatre, Participants will gain key insights into their individual communication style and learn to more effectively command the attention of others in all aspects of their personal and professional lives.
