Course description
Maths - Entry Level For ESOL Learners (C&G)
- To understand and answer simple maths problems in everyday situations
- To develop the necessary language skills to answer everyday maths questions.
- To gain a Maths Functional Skills qualification at Entry 2.
Suitability - Who should attend?
Adults (16+) who want to develop their maths and English skills at the same time. You will already have skills at Entry 1. We will check your maths and reading skills before you join the course to make sure that the course is the right level for you.
Training Course Content
You will work in groups with other learners and on your own. You will work on problems and practical activities, talk with other learners and use computers. Your tutor will give you feedback on what you are doing well and what you need to do to improve.
