Our Data Analysis course covers the key approaches to analysing and modelling data: entity relationship modelling, analysis class modelling and normalisation of data. Key areas of the course include: Building entity relationship diagrams Developing analysis class models Normalisation of data Validating the data requirements The course covers approaches to analysing and modelling data that reflect the business users' needs and priorities. It also provides an overview of the more mechanistic approach offered by normalisation, and then explores techniques to validate the views of the data against the stated requirements. This course enables participants to work towards SFIA skills DTAN levels 2 and 3.
