This webinar will consider the key terms commonly found in consultants' appointments. It will investigate how architects are appointed for construction projects, including the commonly used standard forms, and will take a look in detail at some of the key terms relevant to architects.

The key terms to be examined include standard of care, services, payment, architects’ authority, and liabilities, to name a few. The variants of forms of appointment to be looked at include standard forms, bespoke appointments, letters of intent and oral contracts.

Presenter Katherine Doran has extensive knowledge of construction law, and has wide ranging experience both domestically and overseas. She is frequently asked to advise on construction contract documents, so be sure to tune in to benefit from her expertise in this area.
