With huge professional indemnity insurance claims having been reported in the last 12 months, particularly ones involving solicitors and accountants, it is timely to consider the recent legal developments.

Join Barrister Alison Green for this essential 1-hour update, which considers professional indemnity insurance claims on insurers and how aggregation of these claims may be treated in the light of recently decided court cases. Alison will also look at insurers’ exposure to non-party s.51 costs, where professionals are unsuccessful in defending liability claims.

Alison specialises in commercial law, in particular insurance and reinsurance law, and she is Vice President of the British Insurance Law Association, having previously been its Chairman. Be sure to tune in to benefit from her expertise in this area.
